Taylor Ayers | 2022 President

Taylor Ayers is the Facilities Management Director for the Straub Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. Straub Medical Center—a leader in patient-centered care for nearly 100 years—is an affiliate of Hawaiʻi Pacific Health, one of the state’s largest healthcare providers.  Prior to Straub, he served as the Facilities Director & Safety Officer at the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. Taylor has also led various support service departments including plant operations, biomedical engineering, EVS, security, central supply and procurement. In addition, he has led large capital projects and strategic master planning. 

Taylor received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brigham Young University-Hawai‘i and a Masters in Global Management (MBA) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. In addition, Taylor holds the Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) designation.

Troy Branstetter | 2019 - 2021 President:

Troy Branstetter is the Facilities Management Director for Wilcox Medical Center.  Wilcox Health, which comprises Wilcox Medical Center and Kauai Medical Clinic, is an affiliate of Hawai‘i Pacific Health, one of the state’s largest health care providers.  Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit hospital dedicated to providing the Kauai community with accessible, quality health care. The largest medical center on Kauai, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology.

Troy has been with Wilcox for nearly 2 years.  Troy was previously employed with Integris, the largest health care provider in Oklahoma, for over 30 years.  Prior to accepting the position at Wilcox, he was the Support Services Director, at Integris Health Edmond, where he was responsible for the Engineering, Dietary, and EVS departments.  Troy spent 5 years of service with the United States Navy prior to entering the Healthcare field.

While in Oklahoma, Troy was a Board Member with the Oklahoma Association of Healthcare Engineers (OAHE) for 3 years, his last positon was as Vice President.  The OAHE put on 4 educational events a year, ensuring all members received the necessary CEU’s in order to maintain various credentials. Troy was twice nominated for the Region 7 Emerging Leader Award.

Troy’s passion is team building.  He received a BS in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, carries an Oklahoma Mechanical Contractors License, a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) and Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) through the American Hospital Association, as well as a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP).  Troy is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers, (ASHE).
